4. For question #2, what did you do differently from the original post? Please outline, explain and justify what you changed & why. Essentially, what did you learn from this new topic and what did you change and why. (8 Marks)

The main thing I did differently from my original post was to add a headline. My previous post lacked a headline and had few attention-grabbing qualities. I added a headline to convey the message of the post to my audience from the beginning. Another thing I did differently was to make sure to hit every point I needed. I answered the Who, What, Where, and Why for my audience in my post. I also bolded some words and phrases. I did this to direct the reader’s attention to the most important details and to avoid making them read more than they felt was necessary. The last thing I changed was the way the post was written. My revised post was written in plain English to improve readability and shorten the length of time viewers spend reading. These changes are important and necessary because they match the behaviours of a reader in this modern day. What I have learned is that people in today’s age can’t or won’t read, therefore it is improtant to adapt content to their style of consumption and present it in a way that makes them want to read and not shy them away.
